Our modern Italian menu is influenced by Head Chef, Alexandra Haynes’ experiences throughout Italy; drawing on seasonal and coastal cues, not a point on a map.
Those in the know tend to trust us and opt for the il Capo. It’s a 'let us feed you' menu where we serve up six seasonal specials as a series of shared plates. Enough to feed the whole table, this is the best way to get the full Lalla Rookh experience.

Sommelier, Jeremy Prus oversees a globally influenced wine list with a particular focus on Italian and Australian regions. In the Wine Store you can enjoy our extended list (at retail prices with corkage of $10) featuring Jeremy’s favourite regional finds and expressions of the natural winemaking philosophy.
We don’t forget those looking for a different drop: our bar pours a range of craft beer on tap alongside a finely tuned mix of cocktails.
