Thanks to Stone & Wood Brewing, Lalla Rookh will be hosting "Dark & Salty", the WA launch of their 2016 Stone Beer.

On Friday 3rd of June, the courtyard will play host to an evening of merry drinking and oyster-eating, with “Andy the Oyster Shucker” serving up ½ dozens of freshly shucked oysters to go with a pint of Stone Beer for just $25!

Each year, Stone & Wood brew a seasonal Stone Beer as a tribute to the brewers of the Middle Ages. They “add wood-fired stones to the kettle to rouse the boil and intensify the malt characters of the brew”.

TRANSLATED: they make a one-off, delicious beer to nourish our wintry souls. Add ½ dozen oysters and we’ve got a party!

Lalla Rookh is one of a few WA venues privileged to be selling this year’s Stone Beer; a dark ale with caramel sweetness and a dry finish. We’ll only have a couple of kegs, so once it’s gone, it’s really gone.

Get down to get down with us between 4 – 7pm.
